| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 4, 2009 Raspberry taste was very prominent in my beer. Not too sure why this is their best selling beer. Turbodog is head and shoulders above this beer. ben4321 (1041), Rockville, Maryland, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Location: You can find this one anywhere, last one I had was a 12 oz bottle at Louisiana Kitchen in Bethesda, MD.
Aroma: Fruity and sweet
Appearance: Hazy orange color, foamy white head.
Flavor: Light, wheat, fruity and smooth
Palate: Light body
Overall Impression:
Not so much a good beer, as a good fruit beer. I mean I don’t love the style, but this one is pretty tasty, super drinkable, and perfect for people who don’t really like strong beers, as it not strong at all, but still has some taste to it. I always suggest this one for non-beer people looking for something slightly (and I do mean slightly) Micro. What can I say? I rated it higher then it deserves, but I like this one, especially on a warm summer day outside, when only a light wheat beer will do. jimmack34 (570), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 3, 2009 Bottle. Poured hazy orange-amber. Head was foamy and short lived. Smells of wheat and berries. Taste was of sour fruit. Nothing distinquishible from other berries. Nice wheat bread crust flavor. Not bad. curly (650), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2009 Hazy orange red pour with a white wispy head. Sweet tart aroma. Light fruity taste but sweetness lingers on palate. thornecb (1802), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Pours hazy gold into a tumbler. Bright white head recedes to hug rim. Stale raspberry aromas. Crisp and raspberry upfront turning to a nasty, stale raspberry bubblegum. j12601 (1327), Poughkeepsie, New York, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Feb 28, 2009 On tap at the Peekskill Brewery. Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Sweet raspberry aromas dominate the light hints of toated malt and wheat. Flavor is basically all raspberry, but watered down from the aromas from earlier. Finishes rather nondescriptly with some toasted cereal. Not my favorite, but at least it didn’t have the burnt nut aroma most of the rest of Abita’s lineup seems to have. | 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 11/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Pours with a hazy yellow body and a small white head. Nose of fake raspberry, wheat, hay and some blueberry syrup. Taste is wheat and a watery, weak, with a bit of raspberry jam. Slightly astringent wheat quality. Fizzy and dry mouthfeel.
