Bottle. Pours a cloudy rosey color with a medium frothy white head that diminishes very quickly. Barely got anything on the nose but a faint rasberry. The taste is a weak rasberry with a sweet finish, very watery. This was a weak fruit beer from Abita.

Draft: Faint lemon aroma. Hazy amber color, no head, but good lace. It tastes of weak grape soda. Weak grain finish. I need more from a fruit beer to rate any higher.

Bottled. Poured hazy medium golden with a short-lived white head and some stuff suspended in there. The aroma picked up a painful dose of artificial raspberries with a wheaty backing.. sweet, but for all the wrong reasons.. not very good. Wheat and raspberry tartness in the flavor department with the same artifical sweetness.. higher carbonation fills the mouth, and it still isn’t very good. Lighter-bodied and tart, with an overall stale feel. Blech.

Only really smells like raspberries. Most notably thing about this beer is the carbonation which there was plenty of. The taste is all raspberry mixed with carbonated water and a hint of skunk at the very end. Not a great fruit beer but doesn’t taste artificial like some fruit beers.

So this was the one thing left in the fridge after thanksgiving at some relative’s house. It tastes like rasberries. But it’s decidedly not a lambic. It doesn’t taste bad, it just tastes like rasberries. There’s not much more to it than that.

Bottle. Weak wheat taste and the fruit comes through as just a sourness. Not real fruity. Drinkable, but I don’t think this is as good as it used to be.

Drank from a goblet. Dark yellow, opaque in appearance. Very light white head. Smells like, well, fruit. All I could taste in this was the raspberry, with maybe a faint tinge of cardboard with a "skunky" aftertaste and a light, fizzy mouthfeel.

Initial aroma of hoppy wheat and raspberry was amusing, but this quickly faded to a taste that was not tart, but rather flat. Wheat taste and nose tried to make itself known, but was masked by this raspberry-like presence. I enjoy some fruit beers, like the Belgian Krieks and other Lambics, but will pass on this American version in the future.
