It wasn’t as tart as I had expected, and the raspberry wasn’t overpowering. The alcohol was actually evident, especially in relation to its low alcohol content. It’s nothing to especially laud, but it’s great to buy and drink in bulk (i.e., it has a big bang for the buck). ilovedarkbeer (1369), Dallas, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Pours an ugly wheat brown color. Soapy head with smell of artificial raspberries. Tastes like candy. Not a fan. 5000 (2634), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 24, 2007 Bottle: Pink Grapefruit in color, very hazy, moderate white foamy head, spotty lacing, very light carbonation.   Very pale fruity aroma, somewhat like sweetened Grapefruit with only a hint of raspberry.   Fairly artificial pale berry like fruity flavor, somewhat non-descript, and very light.   Clean finish, minor tartness lingers.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Somewhat sticky feeling after the finish.   Not bad, but fairly plain and quite boring for a Fruit Beer.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 22, 2007 Not a big fan of fruit beers. Aroma is of course of raspberries, also straw and cola. Pour is nothing special. Tastes ok, but I think the bitterness conflicts with the sweet flavor and fruit. It’s just imbalanced. Also kind of a metal taste in there, not sure what thats about. This tastes like raspberry cola mixed with a lager. Fruit flavor is gone on the aftertatse but the bitterness lingers. Crafty07 (393), Florence, Kentucky, USA

I don’t know what everyone was expecting but if you want a well made hazy wheat flavored with raspberries, this is your beer.
Everyone, you dont’ want to drink a raspberry wheat beer, dont’ drink one.
But dont’ drink it just to trash it on this site.

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Bottle - Pours orange, slightly red. Fruity and malted wheat aroma. Sweet/tart fruity, cereal grain flavor. Raspberries are great on a pastry, but I guess I’ve got to get used to them in my beer. Might go well with desserts. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Mar 18, 2007 Been putting this one off for awhile, as I generally do not like raspberry wheat beers. But, the last of the Abita mixed 12 pack was staring me down. True to its name, this beer is hazy, with a slight purple hue. The aroma is wheat and medicine. Dry and light, with an absolute raspberry flavor. Must have some significant amount in the mix. Better that I had feared. But, I won’t be buying 6 packs any day soon.
