Smell of raspberries is apparent but, not overwhelming. You can taste the fruit but again, it isn’t overwhelming. Very tasty wheat beer. bigbish (141), Colorado, USA

Thin head, smells of raspberries. Taste is crisp, with a raspberry flavor that seams a bit sour to me. Not quite as sweet as I would have hoped. An ok beer. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 30, 2006 I don’t like fruit beer. I don’t like fruit beer. Hey, did I mentioned that I don’t like fruit beer? Why? Because if I want something fruity, I’ll drink wine or a wine cooler. I don’t require fruit in my beer. With that being said, I am open minded and am willing to try pretty much anything as it relates to beer. Sample this from a bottle. Nice big white fizzy head topped a murky golden fizzy brew. I expected a big whiff of ultra sweet rasberry flavoring. Not so. Instead I smelled primarliy wheat and malt. Mouthfeel was medium bodied and watery. Flavor was watery wheat beer with a tart twang almost like a no suger added sweet tart candy. The aftertaste was pure bitter rasberry that was acceptable. For what it’s worth in the big scheme of things, this is the best fruit beer that I’ve tasted to date. henryalvz (32), Tampa, Florida, USA

It’s rather cloudy in the glass and doesn’t really retain the head very well. After reading how it was made, I was rather surprised that the raspberry flavor wasn’t stonger. Maybe it would had taste better with a little Jimi Hendrix cranked up Rballs01 (264), Mountain Lakes, New Jersey, USA

Not my choice of beer but rather refreshing. Nice during a hot summer BBQ. hindan02 (24), macomb, Michigan, USA
