Bottled. Poured orangey with yellow and some fizz. Orangey and almost almondy. Not bad for Abita.

The pour is orange with a hint of yellow and a small white head. The aroma is cream, orange, orange peel, and a dash of spice. The flavor is upfront orange and orange peel with subtle spice and a nice wheat backing. Nice carbonation that still goes down smooth.

12 oz. bottle served in tumbler- poured a small hazy light orange with yellow tints color, low carbonation, solid wafer thin stripe atop the liquid surface for a head. Aroma of wheat, a little barley, and even an orange zest- decent. Hits the mouth with a high-thin body, malt is very weak but various fruit sensations dominate the early taste, middle holds those sensations fine, finish is collapsable but does have a small amount of spice (pepper and nutmeg). Not something to rob for, but something that you should at least try once.

Decent beer, aroma is a little bit off and I can’t describe how. Wheat and orange dominate. Nice on a hot day but drink it quick! Flavor weakens upon warming. Lacking depth to put it among the top wits.

12oz bottle from Beer Run (Charlottesville, VA). Pours hazy pale wheat color with light thin head. Aroma is perfumy with honey, bread, coriander and floral notes, also some bananas and citrus. Flavor is a bit thin and yeasty but nice citrus tang with some sweet spices. Nice smooth finish with a little bit of a tart bite. Not as much citrus or depth of flavor as I was hoping for but quite refreshing nonetheless.

12oz bottle from Whole Foods (Tampa, FL). Pours a hazy bright lemon yellow with a one finger white foamy head that settles quickly. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of banana, wheat, bread, yeast, coriander, honey, some light floral esters. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of bread, banana, light citrus, lemon, spice, honey, some floral notes. Generally medium body with a refreshing finish. Not a bad witbier.
