egajdzis (2947), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 4, 2005 Poured a lightly hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head, that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus straw, light dough, and a few different hops. Taste of citrus fruit, toasted malts, and faint hops. Sweet, with balanced bitterness. This was a decent kolsch. I had to rate one Abita before I can’t find them anymore.
dirtymike (2019), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Apr 13, 2005 Deep straw in color with a small white head. Hoppy and grainy malt aroma. Moderately bitter flavor, malty with a sweet wheat tang. Aurelius (2447), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Jan 22, 2005 Hazy green-gold. Clear water aroma. Very grainy, almost eastern European lager flavor. Biscuity, light tang, not much hops. Thinnish and not very interesting. Long doughy finish. Disappointing after a pair of pretty good Abita ales.
