SaintMatty (556), Tallinn, Estonia Jul 15, 2008 Draught (Gauja, Riga) - Copper brown/red in colour with a small head. Sweet and malty aroma with some plums and other fruity elements. Sweetish malty taste with some fruit and raisins and some slightly roasted notes. Rather sweet but fairly tasty. Orangy brown, slightly hazy, no head. I didn’t find much aroma at first. Anna says there’s plenty, but can’t describe it. Slightly fruity, I guess. soft creamy palate. As it warms a little, the aroma comes out - apple, and associated esters. Slightly watery and refreshing, but sweetness and creaminess compensate nicely. Red/amber ale maltiness and subtle bittering from hops. In the end it’s creamy. And still sticky sweet, the only negative. Tranquillity (1081), Espoo, Finland Dec 10, 2007 This is a beer that probably doesn’t exist online, but in Jurmala it was clearly on tap. Dark, looks like raisin pulp. No head or bubbles. Smalls like fallen and rotten apples. Taste fresh, fruity and raisiny. Like a home-made Finnish sahti, very thick and... weird.
