Appearance: Pours a damn near translucent body with just a hint of yellow to it. A few stray bubbles, but no real head.
Smell: Aroma of tired, sad pears and a hint of vanilla. Hm.
Taste: Gack! Sweet, sickly so, with tastes of vanilla and pear juice. Seems like there’s an excessive amount of sulfites in here. Sweet in the middle, sweet in the finish, it’ll leave you cringing after each sip.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Very little carbonation.
Drinkability: Almost painfully sweet and with very little pear flavor to offer up. Avoid.

Sep 30, 2008 Pale yellow body with a bright white head. The aroma has very sweet notes of pears and some wood. The taste has rich sweet notes of canned pears. There is also a floral character. This is overall very sweet, but a pleasing sumemr cooler.

Sep 28, 2008 My second hard cider, my first pear cider, so, I’m not really sure what to look for, but it was damn tasty! It poured a clear straw color, similar to champagne. It had a pear/white grape juice flavor, that was very crisp and refreshing. Very good stuff, Cheers!

Sep 16, 2008 Poured fom bottle a clear very light-yellow with the thinnest layer of white foam and heavy carbonation. Aroma is of perfumy pear and a touch of sulfur. Flavor is tart apple, pear, and sugary syrup. Palate starts tart then quickly turns overly sweet and a bit sticky. Overall, not my cup of tea but I though I would give it a shot since my wife bought it. I’m sure there must be better examples out there.

Aug 31, 2008 Similar to the apple cider but this time with a light pear aroma to it. Pretty good.

Aug 19, 2008 Not impressed at all. Poor cider that’s weak, almost like an expired juice box. The pear flavor was lacking.
