(On tap 33 cl) Dark golden with a slight haze. Lovely, creamy head leaving a beautiful lacing. Ligh malty notes and a rather dry hoppiness - without being very bitter. Light in body. Very refreshing and easy-to-drink trappist. 110505

From tap at the monastery. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity and yeasty. Light crnish initial acidity and biternes yet also with a mild yeasty note. Ends bitter and mild spiced. Rather dry.

Draught @ the monastary
Light light unclear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, sweet citrus, sweet grapefruit, spic, light notes of coriander - pepper. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long to average duration, very refreshing and fruity, with dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20081026]

Draught at the monastery’s cafeteria. Weak vinous aroma. Hazy yellow colour. Very small creamy white head. The flavour is citric, refreshing and slightly bready. OK hopped, citric getting slightly sour in the finish. Good bready aftertaste.

Draught Good white head, very slightly receding over dark golden beer with greenish shine. Perfect nose of combined dry malts and good Saaz hops - WOW! Very nice, clean hops and dry pale malts taste - classic but agreable. Very perfumed but undeniable hopsflavour retronasal. Light, refreshing, very light almond flavour in the aftertaste, palm tree (Buxus) aroma. Great, refreshing, drinking ale of Trappist quality.

On tap (@De Kluis):Hazy, pale golden, smaller lacy white head; mineralic nose with a zesty and hoppy background; moderate, quite dry bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; lingering tart and zesty aromas in the hoppy bitter-sweet finish. Good session beer, unfortunately served tooooo cold.........

On tap at the monastry. Aroma of citrus and eggs. Cloudy, shiny yellow color, white head, fair lace. Bitter, citrus, light malty, even a hint of butter, average body. If technically not the best and certainly not my kind of flavor.

(Draught@Achel) Opaque yellow-orange with a medium, partly lasting and lacy head. Mild, citrusy-malty aroma with some grassy hops (served quite cold). Fresh, pale-malty flavor with light lemony sourness. Light to medium body, soft carbonation. A refreshing, somewhat hoppy brew with pleasantly low ABV and decent body.
