(Draght at the monastary) On March 22, 2008. Shady orange color, tan head. Herbal fruity hoppy scent. Fresh herbal hoppy taste. Really nice and seems to be newly produced. Medium to full a bit spritzy mouthfeel. Medium to moderate bitterness.

On tap @ De Achelse Kluis. Aroma has citrus, yeast, some spice and hoppiness. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a creamy, lasting white head. the taste isrefreshing, slightly bitter, citric, bit earthy, yeasty and has spice. Very well balanced. Great belgian session ale.

Draught Good white head, very slightly receding over dark golden beer with greenish shine. Perfect nose of combined dry malts and good Saaz hops - WOW! Very nice, clean hops and dry pale malts taste - classic but agreable. Very perfumed but undeniable hopsflavour retronasal. Light, refreshing, very light almond flavour in the aftertaste, palm tree (Buxus) aroma. Great, refreshing, drinking ale of Trappist quality.

Served in a Trappist glass from the tap at De Achelse Kluis. Cloudy yellow with thich creamy white head. Light floral, spicy aroma. Flavor is spicy, notes of clove, citrus. Reminds me of a light version of Leffe Blond. Light-bodied. Very drinkable. Nice beer.

Very hazy golden body, very fine white head; Pleasant not to big fresh nose with yeast very present; Alright body, a little biting bitter, slightly yeast harsh; Long finish with yeast very apparent both aroma and slightly harsh too. Alright but not good, don’t know if I got the end of the keg.

On tap @ brewpub Achel monastry. 31.07.2009. Litlle hazy goldblond color, with good white head. Aroma malts, fruits, hop bitters. Medium body. Taste refreshing, malts, fruits, bitter, a dry bitter aftertaste. Good.
