33cl bottle at De Beiaard, Amsterdam, 12-1-07. Cloudy honey-gold with a smaller white head. The Chimay chalice it’s served in does that cool bubble thing in the center that keeps the head alive forever. The aroma is fresh fruits with apple and pear standing out, then yeast and some banana. Flavor is pretty sweet and yeasty with some banana/bubble-gum character, and a hoppy bitterness finishes it off. Heavy carbonation with a medium body. I like it, refreshing and lighter than other trappists.

Gekocht in de Ardennen. Hier had ik meer van verwacht. Veel druk onder de kurk (teveel bubbels). Maar na een kwartiertje als de meeste prik weg is dan smaakt ze goed.

Light, very fruity, bubblegumish. Pours hazy blonde with very big lasting with top. Delightfull, yeasty, citric, sweet, not too much bitterness. Almost feels like wheat in some ways. A bit of fiery of alcohol in the finnish. Sparkles in your mouth. Lovley!

Bottled. A hazy blonde beer with a big, cremy and persistent white head that leaves nice lace son the glass.Nioce aroma of yeast, hops, fruits (mainly oranges) and spices (corriander, pepper). The flavour is sweet and has fruity notes (citric fruits), spiciness (again pepper and coriander) and a good amount of hop in the final. medium to full body, the carbonation is not so high, quite long finish. Low to medium bitterness, only a hint of alcohol is felt. Intersesting ale.

bottle: pours a hazy yellow hay coloue with a very large white head with some lacing. aroma is a little sweet malt but definetly a small amount of funky too. some wheat seems to be in here and some light fruit and floral hop very nice. flavour is light and malty with some fruit and some good light floral bitterness in the finish some wheat like malt seems to be there too and just very light touches of funky.having difficulty puling everything out but rewally enjoying the beer.

Cloudy straw color pour with a huge, thich snow white head that lasted till the end. Spicy semi lactic aroma. Mildy spicey/fruity flavor with a dry finish. Thin to medium mouth feel. Good but not great.
