| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 8, 2009 Bottle. A gusher! Pours golden orange with a fluffy white head that lasts till the end. Aroma is quite yeasty with notes of honey, cinnamon, banana and apples. Flavour is similar with additional hints of pear, lemon, ginger and a little bit of malt. Medium body with lively carbonation, this is a particularly refreshing belgian ale. It might not be the best of the trappist blondes, but it’s a damn fine beer in its own right. Pours clear deep gold, but nice cloudy bits at the bottom make for a hazy pour. Big foamy, gauzy white head (two-finger) that recedes into a lasting cover with good retention. Aroma of overripe bananas, Belgian sugar, some earthy yeast, mild cinnamon and caramel. Similar taste, with added rotten apple notes (in a good way). Tasty. danielyabu (297), União da Vitória, Brazil
