Hazy amber, heavily carbonated, foamy white head.
Citrus, banana aroma, minerally yeast edges, peach.
Light metallic trapist-yeast flavorbase, peach, bubblegum.
Mouthfeel quite foamy, makes the beer seem lighter.
Spicy and metallic yeast and hop aftertaste.
Skidds (214), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Dec 2, 2008 Pours a nice gold colour with a white head. Yeasty and slightly citrus aroma. Strong yeast flavour with a strong citrus and vanilla taste. Quite spicy and hoppy. SeanMacGC (102), Dublin, Ireland Nov 26, 2008 Bottle, 33cl. Pours a very appealing light golden, with dense, durable, half-finger deep white head, with lacing. Very fruity aroma, of citrus, and notes of honey. Similar on the palate, with yeast predominating. Exquisitely decent triple.
Straling (92), Amstenrade, Netherlands Oct 31, 2008 Bottle 33cl.
Pours a clear golden colour with a great size head and good carbonation.
Very clean and fresh aroma of citrus fruits, hops and also some spices there.
Taste is very warm and pleasant with fruits, spices and vaguely raising there too.
Good trappist beer, a better blond. TheJollyOne (46), Kofu, Japan Oct 19, 2008 Huge frothy head that held to he last drop. Very bubbly auburn body. The nose was quite sweet, honey and yeast. Taste was a bit like brown vinegar, starting sour and ending a bit bitter, yeasty as well. Was a bit to harsh for my liking. Palate was light and lively, but a bit astringent. fidel (314), Livermore, California, USA Oct 18, 2008 Hazy golden yellow, gusher, citrus, yeasty, bready, light hop, little malt, slight bannana.
