A hazy orange beer with yeast sediment floating around and a huge off-white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of yeast, oranges, coriander, and earth. The flavor is powerful with strong notes of alcohol, yeast, oranges, and spices amongst those coriander. The mouthfeel is silky soft and ending on a dryness while the alcohol is felt in the throat.

(Bottle 33 cl) Golden, cloudy ale with large yeast sediment. Very substantial body with both sweetness and bitterness. Quite fruity and very, very solid. 241002

33 cL bottle. Pours clear orange with a huge crispy head. Aroma yeasty, earth and fruity with caramel malt base beneath. Flavour starts sweet caramel, going into a complex fruit palate before the yeast becomes appearant. Finish holds a strong spiced bitterness with a clear alcohol presence. Certainly not one of my favourite trappists.

Golden coloured. Malty, restrained fruitiness, somewhat salty. Rather bitter. Not as complex as many other trappists.

Bottle. Dark golden with a big frothy white head. Intense perfumed aroma, spice, malt and some fruit. Spicy malt flavour, dry and full and with some alcohol warm. Bitter and spicy finish.

Bottle. Fruity, malty, yeasty, peppery aroma. Golden colour, hint of cloudiness. White semi-stable head. Flavour yeasty, fresh fruit, malty, alcoholic. Mild, caramelly aftertaste. Astringent rather than bitter. Swelling mouthfeel.

Bottled. Golden, slightly cloudy colour with huge creamy head. Aroma is citrusfruit, spices, caramel, alcohol and dough. Flavour is spices, wheat, slight alcohol and dough. Gets better while you drink and it gets a bit warmer. When warmer, it "smoothens" up abit. Pleasant.
