This is an amazing beer. It is a pleasure to look at and exceptionally complex. This beer is orange and cloudy. The huge, thick, firm, and long lasting white head takes up far more space than the beer in my Kapittel trappist glass, and leaves a thick and sticky lacing. Aroma starts off fruity and spicy suggesting a tripel; alcohol and malt follows. This is a very sweet beer, with coriander and other spices, sweet fruit and light malt as well as a hint of bitter hops. Aftertaste is a little sweet but has salt as well, with a hint of alcohol lingering. Flawless and outstanding.

Oct 5, 2008 11.2 oz bottle. Cloudy orange brwn with a puffy white head. Nose is yeast, dough and a touch of lemon. Bright, bubbly and crisp. Taste is lemon and banana with a lime zest finish. A nice Blond with a hint of honey.

Oct 1, 2008 This beer has a unique quality of being aggressive, but still being mellow at the same time. Aroma is yeasty with a sweet honey tone, as is the flavor. Malt dominant, there is just enough hop bitterness to keep the sweetness from getting to be too much. Nice black pepper notes show up in the latter part of the swallow. Carbonation is spritzy. An amazing looking beer, the head on this thing rose a full inch above the rim of my Belgian goblet, and stayed there for a good five minutes. Pours cloudy maize with a lot of floating yeast chunks. The alcohol is present but not intrusive.
