May 16, 2008 330ml bottle into a tulip. dark amber with a large foamy head. yeasty sweet malty smell. sweet doughy flavor with some caramel and chocolate. light spritzy mouthfeel is quite pleasant. finishes clean with a bit of lingering bitterness and warmth. excellent head retention. though a bit lacking in complexity it is a very nice sipper.

May 11, 2008 Bottle. Berry aroma with a slight alcohol scent. Dark red color. Slighty sweet, yeasty intial taste. Heavily carbonated with a dry sweet finish. To me it almost resembles a sour or I would blasphemously say champagne.

Apr 23, 2008 On draught at Elfde Gebode. Pours an opaque dark brown with a light tan head. Well-carbonated, with a slight raisiny aroma and flavor. Malty sweetness with a late alcohol character. Nice.

Apr 22, 2008 Couleur brune avec des reflets rubis. Col de mousse beige très long.
Parfum de bois, de cuir, de malte, d’alcool et d’herbes et de fleurs. Il y a bien de légères notes métalliques et de poussière.
Superbe goût, éthers, alcool chaud, caramel, confiserie, liqueur, sucre. Il y a le métal aussi.
Arrière-goût de malte, de whisky, de scotch.
Bouche éclatante et sirupeuse.
Très bonne bière !
