Parfum de bois, de cuir, de malte, d’alcool et d’herbes et de fleurs. Il y a bien de légères notes métalliques et de poussière.
Superbe goût, éthers, alcool chaud, caramel, confiserie, liqueur, sucre. Il y a le métal aussi.
Arrière-goût de malte, de whisky, de scotch.
Bouche éclatante et sirupeuse.
Très bonne bière !

Apr 13, 2008 Bottle. Pleasant fruity aroma. not very strong. It looks great in the glass. Beautiful dark amber color with a big fluffy head that leaves a nice lacing in the glass. High carbonation, strong malt taste and bitterness. Nice clean finish. Very long lasting aftertast. I like this very much.

Apr 8, 2008 05/04 0.33 l bottle at Hopdevil, Zagreb. Poured dark red body with big ocher head that went down really slow. Nice fruity malty aroma, mostly sweet dark berries, slightly sourish grapes and yeasty. Flavor is tasty, sweetish, with grapes and dark fruit dominating. Some slight sourness and bitterness was also present. Full bodied of course. Long finish follows the taste, raising its sweetness to higher level. Very nice one.

Apr 7, 2008 Bottle. High fluffy lasting off-white head. Hazy red brown body. Light berries aroma. Heavily carbonated slightly acidic berries flavor without the expected caramel. Long aftertaste.

Apr 7, 2008 Thanks to joebrew. Darker amber in color with a foam=like beige head. Sweet fruit aroma with some maltiness as well. The flavors are varied. Some dark fruits, chocolate, some spice, with a light hop finish.

Apr 3, 2008 Big, light, airy head atop the nut brown beer. Aroma has some floral, aromatic touches. Flavour is a good balance of sweet and bitter, erring on the side of sweet. Texture is silky and smooth.

Apr 2, 2008 Mahogany topped with rocky beige. Intensely heady sweet aroma of stewed apple and hedgerow fruit (blackcurrant), berries, liquorice, a Westy-like nibble of sourness, background chocolate and sesame. Sweet, blackcurranty, dusted with chocolate and glowing with alcohol. More sesame and creamy hazelnut. Bit too sweet, but a solid yeasty Trappist.

Mar 30, 2008 Aromas of darker malt, medium dark fruits, and yeast spice. Cloudy amber color with a 4 finger beige head. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is spicy, malty, fruity and lightly hoppy. An extravaganza of flavors. Finish is rather clean, spicy, delicious. Amazing experience. The heat creeps up after awhile, but doesn’t interfere with the flavors.
