Pours deep and lively brown, with yeast aplenty roaming the boundaries and all points inbetween within the Ommegang glass into which it was poured. Head of offwhite looks as if the Cinnammon fairy sprinkled her magical-- and tasty-- dust atop the protein mountain. Aroma is a nice, spring-like nutty Saison, with hints of berry and nutmeg. Nice blend of dehydrated berries and nuts in the flavor; buttery finish with hints of cocoa and touches of chocolate. Nice mouthfeel. Great beer! ohemming (22), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Bottle pours a slightly hazy light redish brown witha huge foamy beige head. Clumpy heavy lacing. Aroma of over ripe apples pitted fruit, and musty earthen notes as well. Flavor is similar. A belgian brown. Some raisons, and a little spiciness. Cinnimon maybe. Intensly carbonated and the alchol is noticeable. BeerBiker (1392), Kathmandu, Nepal

Amounts of ingredients of dried fruits, plums, toffee, softness, some citrus, yeast of course and it all ends up in a nice finish. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
