Bottle @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph. Sweet sticky nose, with notes of spices and fruits. Slight hazy orange body, with a small white head. Sweet flavor, with some nice hoppyness, notes of alcohol. Thanks sk8viking for sharing this rarity!

75 cl Bottle. Bought in Řlbutikken. Orange too golden in colour, nice head. Wonderfull aroma, of sweetness and hops. A tastefull, sweety and notes of caramel good aftertaste that ends in some bitterness. A quit good beer.

thanks to BierKonig for sending this across the pond, the aroma was sweet with just a hint of yeast and alcohol tingling the nose. the pour is a deep yellow topped off with a long lasting white head. the flavor was well blended with caramel, sweet apples, bananas, and a bit of yeast, finishing off a bit on the tangy side from the abv, but ending with a crisp sweet taste that made me wish i had another bottle. thanks jeppe.

I dunno where RLB got this stuff from but it was very gererous of him to share it with his best pals! Aroma is sweet and peppery with a lively mouthfeel. Starts off sweet but the high alchohol kicks in to cover that up pretty quick. Taste is malty indeed with some hay and apple flavors.

RLB only brought 1 bottle to the Tripel Fest at egajdzis place, but being this one made up for quantity - thanks RLB! Poured a cloudy golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas and tastes of citrus, fruity, and light yeast. Hops come through in the tastes as well. Lightly sweet. Some alcohol comes through in the aroma but is well hidden in the taste. I really enjoy Achel’s beers and this one was not a let down.
