Aug 3, 2009 Bottled sample via lubiere. Light amber on colour with medium to strong carbonation. Aromas are of red apple skins, gumdrops, plums, and spice. Caramel malts enter the mix on the palate, along with more of the orchard fruit and cooking-spice character coming through. Powder dry, minerally finish. Very lightweight, but also quite drinkable. Fairly good.

May 17, 2009 Bottle. A very malty aroma, a light touch of alcohol, bread, a very soft metallic smell. The head is beige, medium large and foamy creamy with a rather long duration. The body is red. The first taste is bitter, quite malty with some chocolate. The body is creamy with a lively carbonation and rather soft.

Mar 25, 2009 On tap@Zythos Beer Festival 2009. A dense lasting white head over a deep golden to pale amber colored body. Spices, ripe fruits, sweetish malts and earthy hops to the nose. Fairly dry, toasted, light peppery malt flavor. Subdued fruitiness, spices and a mild hopbitterness. Surprisingly light-bodied. Finishes dry malty and spiced.

Mar 19, 2009 Sampled at Zythos 2009. Copper colour, thin beige head. I have a slightly toffee toasted beer in front of me, bit watery and no real flavour.
