Ober (400), Best, Netherlands May 3, 2008 A hazy amber colored beer. It has a nice beige nead. Aroma is sweet at first, but nice sweet. After that some spicey and malt. The taste is also sweet but at the end some bitter and fruity, notes of citrus. Not at bad beer at alle. very good on one of the first sunny days.
weaselkenievil (374), Cheshire, England Oct 5, 2008 Cask at the New Oxford in Salford. Orange, amber in appearance with thin head. Hoppy and yeasty with slight caramel and a little spice. Not bad but a little lacking in character and bollocks. Sammy (3135), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Oct 2, 2008 Bomber from Premiere Gourmet. A blonde ale, good yeastiness, finishing with some hops. Aftertaste of the yeast. Yeasty head on the golden colour. Yeasty aroma. Medium plus mouthfeel, though above average carbonation. Decent more hoppy than usual from a Belgian. Pours a cloudy, ruddied, very dark amber. Thick, moussy tan head that falls quickly away to not much. No lace. Blandly sweet caramel apple nose. Medium body, undercarbonated, More caramel and brown apples, with a fairly neutral finish. This beer looks fantastic in the glass, but is fairly closed-out throughout. Not a lot of life or power here at all. blutt59 (788), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 6, 2008 bottle, copper brown color, foamy head that fades to soapy wash, nose is light and spicy, flavor is mild caramel, spiced fruit and effervescent body, finish is bright and mild
