A sweet beer with a bitter touch ibn the after taste. Tasted it on the Zythos Beer Festival

I could not get past the diacetyl nose on this one. If I could have, it may have been more enjoyable but every swallow was like butter to me. I like Achouffe ... but this was a struggle.

Draught at ZBF 2007, Sint-Niklaas, Belgium
Clear yellow, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity, flowery aroma: excellent. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Good balance with an ok complexity. Nice.

A Mes rate: Draught at ZBF. Hazy golden, white head. Slightly sweet in the nose. More sweet stuff in the flavour with a bit of a fruity edge to it and some delicate spice and spruce. Dry bitter finish.

Draught. Golden coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Sweetness, yeast, light fruits in the aroma. Sweetness, fruits, spice and some herbs in the flavour. Medium bodied and quite dry. Smooth. Light spiced and bitter end. I actually find this beer quite good.

Draught Slightly hazy, greenish shine in golden beer with a small white rim. Diacetyl. OUCH. And a little parsley or chervil touch, but a lot of diacetyl. Diacetyl taste again, and the aquarium water of a lobster restaurant. Green peas with lobster. Slick, diacetyl-filled MF. L-A-G-E-R-I-N-G, whomever is brewing there today!
