Dec 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours a clear copper hued amber with a thin white head. Nice biscuit and malt profile, a touch of toast. Medium bodied, velvety. Caramel flavors, a bit sweet with some biscuit and grain. Finishes up with some dry grainy bitterness.

Nov 29, 2009 (12 ounce bottle - pint glass) Aroma is malty. Taste is a balance between malt and hops leaning toward the malty side. Mouthfeel in my opinion has a perfect amount of carbonation. Has a short lightly hoppy bitter finish. Overall it makes a good session beer.

Jul 14, 2009 Tap at the Dulles location. Pours a very dark copper with a creamy/frothy near white head. Aroma seems dusty. Near medium body with smooth, bubbly carbonation. Not really all that bitter, but definitely tasty. Theres enough hop tobalance the light roast malt. It truly brings to mind AB American Ale. Finishes lightly fruity. Better than many.
