| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 20, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours golden orange with white head. Aroma is floral hops, citrus and malt. Flavor is hops, citrus, and malt. Finishes bitter. Mouthfeel is pretty good. Has a tart bitterness at end which really throws flavor off. Could use more malt to bring better balance to the brew. fidel (1002), Livermore, California, USA

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 15, 2008 I kept wondering where Wiley E Coyote was. It might have tasted better if there was some roadrunner in it. Pretty poor effort from a Ca brewery making an IPA. Apricot color. nose is too malty and so is the flavor. hops are around but they seem to be old and of poor quality. yuck. hombrepalo (780), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 31, 2008 12 oz bottle. Not a very exciting IPA, it poured a hazy orange-golden color with a thin white head that vanishes almost completely in seconds. Hoppy nose with citrus and some tropical fruit. Flavor is hoppy with notes of citrus and apricot. Lingering, creamy, bitter finish. can8ianben (908), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 29, 2008 More straw golden than most IPAs. A syrupy mouthfeel combined with a vicious bitter finish in this one. Lots of tight carbonation.
Aroma of cut hay and lemon rind.
Bitter. Not as strong of sweet pine notes as I’d expect, rather a bitter grapefruit flavor throughout. Did I mention it was sharply bitter? checkmatei1 (630), Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 23, 2008 Bottle: Pours a golden orange with not much head. The aroma was sweet, malty and hoppy. The flavor was smooth, well balanced, hoppy but not too hoppy. Overall, one of the best IPA’s I’ve ever had. It did not burn my taste buds and did not ruin my next beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with one finger off-white head and spotty lacing. Nose is sweet malt and light citrus. Taste is caramel, tangerine and light grapefruit with a mild resin finish. Medium mouth feel. Nothing earth shattering, but a decent session-able IPA. ruggedman (626), Portland, Maine, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Not a huge IPA, but very drinkable. It’s got a muted hop profile, but it’s more balanced than some.
