Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Hazy light orange/sunshine color. one finger thickly foamed head. Nice lacing. I would not say this had the "punch" of an IPA. It was crisp , refreshing , nicely but not overly hopped. Nice citrus tang to it. and a great session beer. One of the best pale ales I’ve had. Kudos! $9 a six.

Super-hoppy nose is lemony and herbal. Dry and light palate. There are enough hops and alcohol here to make you think this is an imperial, and the beer is certainly aggressive. A great bargain and a fruity IPA.

I was not sure what to think of this IPA (new to beer tasting) The normal IPA taste i was used to, but with a more balanced taste and hoppy taste. Poured with a gold color and thick white head. Tingled my mouth. Would definitely purchase again in the future!

As far as beer goes, it’s great. As far as IPAs go it’s rather forgettable. It’s aroma says hops, mild hops. It’s rather muted for my liking. The appearance is a hazy orange color, with a nice full head. The flavor is mild, with a good balance between malts and hops. However, it’s rather safe for my liking, at least what I expect out of an IPA. It’s a smooth bitter, not to full of hop flavor, but nice avoiding that overpowering citrus that some brews strip you palate with. A good session IPA? If that makes sense.

Hazy orange, firm white head. Smooth fruity aroma, sweet toffee maltiness, flowery hops. Over sweet malty flavor, quite strong flowery hops, though the sweetness takes out the best bite. Slightly chalky, bitter finish and a smooth, silky palate.

12oz bottle. Pours orange/yellow with a moderate white head, spider web lace, good retention. Smells metallic and astringent hoppy with some crisp malt flavor as well. Some citrus and peach on the nose as well. Taste metallic hoppy with some peach and citrus. Good malt presence, crisp and slightly sweet. Medium body, good carbonation. Slightly dry.

Dark yellow colored, slightly cloudy appearance. Little white head. Strongly fruity aroma with soapy, finely hopped note. Medium bodied. Flavor is more lemony with also strong hops, aftertaste dries.

350ml bottle (Olutkellari, Helsinki)
Slightly hazy orange, tiny head. Hugely sweet hoppy aroma - very very USA, smelt it a million times before - and sweet malts too. Sticky sweet malts and late bitter hops - tastes like a billion other US beers. So horrifically sweet it’s simply not thirst-quenching. However, otherwise it’s quite well balanced.
