Slightly hazy orange, tiny head. Hugely sweet hoppy aroma - very very USA, smelt it a million times before - and sweet malts too. Sticky sweet malts and late bitter hops - tastes like a billion other US beers. So horrifically sweet it’s simply not thirst-quenching. However, otherwise it’s quite well balanced. hirigalzkar (601), Stockholm, Sweden

Hazy orange color, decent off-white head. Rye-bready, honeyish hoppy aroma. Bready, hoppy, pale malty with crisp carbonation. Some sweetness in the aftertaste. Not really IPA, more like an APA. Quite similar to NC’s Red Seal Ale. bethmatt0421 (319), Covington, Kentucky, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 1, 2008 I like Nik925 description, calling it an "India Pale Lager." Malts are thicker than you find in most IPA’s and the hops are barely noticeable hiding underneath the yeast. This is a lager with a fair hop bite, but thats just my opinion. | 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Poorly hopped, thin flavors. I would describe it as a India Pale Lager as there is the yeast notes are that of a lager. Metallic, thin, yet still too bitter at the same time. A average beer, but a poor IPA.
