Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

(USA) Pours a lite orange color with a sm-white head. The aroma is of mild pee and the taste was all pine needles, and the finish was dry. This was very unpleasant for me, and i don’t think i will drink this one again.

Bottle from world market shared with Dev Knights. Pale pour with white head. Pine citrus hops and rather dry. Sweet dry and a hop citrus acrid zing that was really not a pallet pleaser for me. One and done!

Hazy orange with a large white lacy head, slowly dissipating. Aroma of citrus hops, pine, caramel and toffee. Taste of citrus and grassy hops, grapefruit, mild caramel with a sweet hop & caramel finish that’s mildly bitter and a touch dry. Perhaps a touch thin and a little too sweet but overall a decent IPA.

Bottle shared with the Devonshire guys. Pours pale amber-orange with a white head. Smells vaguely of urine. Taste is mostly pine and sugar. Not a pleasant hop flavor. Drinkable but only barely.

Bottle. Hazy golden with large white head. The bottle is a bit old and have been stored in a warm location. It doesn’t taste bad however! The bitterness dominates. Floral. Slightly metallic.

12 oz bottle from Trader Joes. Pours a translucent gold-copper color with a big foamy white head that has good retention and lacing. The aroma is mostly musty citrus with a touch of cardboard. The flavor is hops forward with biter walnuts and toffee, and the citrus is lost somewhere way in the back. The mouthfeel is full and malty. The finish is long and biter with a bit of biscuit. Overall: This beer is seems out of balance, there is no Zen harmony here.

Light orange-copper with big foamy, off-white head / Very lIght citrus nose / Light to medium body, some sweet malts with dry, bitter hop character predominating and carrying through on fair, slightly hot, bitter finish / Flavors of spun sugar with grapefruit and orange notes / Good, but bitterness is the overwhelms the weak fruit.
