Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Pours a clear gold with a healthy white head. Has a weak hop aroma, and taste is bitter but lacking. Not that great.

12 oz bottle. Pale amber color, minimal head. Malt is there initially, somewhat sweet, but plays a small role. Flavor is big grassy citrus fresh hops. Medium bodied. Somewhat syrupy. Dry on the palate. One extra point for the cool looking bottle.

Smells like a typical IPA with hints of citrus fruit. Pours a golden color with a large head. Just like others have said lots of hops, but has a metallic taste. Tons of lacing left on the glass. Proabably will not buy this one again.

cloudy apricot color, off-white lacy head. grapefruit and sweet tea in the aroms. the flavor is mild and inoffensive with litle, if any, citrus tartness. at only 6.5% abv, this is not big ipa territory. finishes bitter, but the whole effort is a bit of a disappointment.

Bottle from TJ’s. Pours an orange golden with a sudsy white head. Nose is full of hops, but also metal, which is not my favorite variety of hops. Really doesn’t smell like anything else besides metal and weak hops. Flavor is very metallic as well, with a little bit of caramel malt and some mild fruity hops. Meh. Pretty disappointing IPA.

Ipa has a faint hoppy aroma and a good high hop taste. There is a touch of nutmeg or corriander that is unpleasant and a very mettalic finish, Disappointed by my first North Coast beer, and i had high expectations.

Pours a golden color that is much lighter than I’ve become accustomed to from IPA’s. Head was decent but dissipated pretty quickly. Aroma was floral, citrus hops but not that dominant. Taste was a bit lacking and I thought the mouthfeel was a bit thin and watery. This was okay, but I have to say I was disappointed.
