Smells mildly of caramel, tastes sweet, with a long wood-flavored finish. Quite well balanced between malts and heavy West coast dry hops. Alcohol extremely well hidden. Great, if IPAs are your thing, and you don’t want one that will totally konk you over the head with overdone hops. GaltScat (195), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 6, 2008 Hoppy aroma, some evergreens and lemons. Appearance is cloudy. Nice golden color with tiny bubble visible like champagne. Two finger head with good retention. Initial taste is hops and bitter then the oranges and slight malt then bitter all the way to the long long finish. Straightforward IPA, not too complex but enjoyable nonetheless. The label now has a 40’s style pin-up girl. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 6, 2008 My bottle has a different label from the picture, it’s a killer 50s-style label. Anyway, the beer pours a deep golden color with a nice head and lace. Rich earthy and forest aromas with a tinge of pleasant skunkweed and swamp. Creamy soft mouthfeel floats down the throat, leaving no stickiness. Medium-bodied with a killer flavor profile that matches the nose: lots of pine and fir and lingering bitter moreishness. tunneler (113), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 24, 2008 A bit thin, without much caramel/malt backbone, but I still thought this was a more than passable IPA shackinetics (132), Florida, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 24, 2008 medium amber color with decent white head, good lacing. Strong aroma of hops, pine, orange citrus. Nice hoppy bite, pine/citrus flavor and good mouth feel. On the bitter (think grapefruit sour) side of well-balanced. I like it though, pretty darn nice. blklab2007 (977), Connecticut, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 18, 2008 bottle at the ginger man poured a lighter amber in color with a nice white head. aroma has hops a plenty, citrus peel, peach, and fruit. mouth feel is medium with great carbination pushing the flavors across. has a frothy thickness but is a thinner beer, good hop hit, caramel malt, hop bitterness, finishes full of flavor with some bite at the side of the tongue. really an enjoyable beer that was just good drinking. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2008 Bottle. Sweet and achingly-beautiful hoppiness in the aroma, pungent and funky and delicious! Hop oils blending with grass, strong tropical fruit. Pale, light orange pour with a soapy beige head, nice and lacing. Bittersweet taste, again, lots of hops. Body’s a bit thin. Good, B+/A- IPA, nice and sessionable. Collint (465), Sylva, North Carolina, USA

Smells a little hoppy but not as much as I expected. Defenetly tastes dry afterwords and is a little bitter. Isn’t bad, I like the taste of this but I have had better.
