Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Cloudy orange, aroma of semi-sweet hops, but not as strong as many IPAs I’ve had. Dry and a little rough on the hops side, is the first thing that comes to mind, OK IPA.

12 oz, no date stamp. Clear orange-golden with a medium and lasting head. Nose is evergreen resin and dry cereal grain. Flavor is rich and malty on front but mixed well with pine resin hops, turning towards more grassy-bitter and resiny hops on the finish. Palate is light-medium bodied, kind of airy, and dry. Good session ale.

pours a hazy amber color with a thin white head which had some retention/lacing. Aroma seemed to be a little too mild for me. Some soft pine notes a mild caramel notes. Flavor was some what bitter to me, a nice malt presence to it, Still kind of mild.

Pours a nice copper/amber coler. Nose of sweet malts and hopsNice hop flavor with a bitter finsh that lingers, with a little sweetness to it. A nice IPA. Unfortunately for North Coast, too many other IPA’s that are better and readily available.

350 ml bottle from Trader Joes. Hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Vaguely grapefruit and pine aroma. Citrus and pine taste with a slight bitterness and a dry finish. Not great among IPAs.

Bottle bought at the Rover, Göteborg, Sweden. Clear amber with a medium off-white head. Fruity and a bit earthy maltiness, discrete floral hops. Medium bodied. Nice balance with a good bitter bite. Quite a bland IPA.

Bottle. Pours light copper with medium white head. Aroma is piney, some light citrus - pineapple, orange and apricot. Flavor is a little creamy doughy maltiness, but dominated by fruity hops. Finish is pretty bitter, piney, resiny hops. I feel that this beer is underrated, I like its bitter hop bite.
