Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Bottle. Color is a pale gold. Poured with a nice white head that had very good lacing. Smell of hops and sweet spice. Strong taste of hops and metal. Not getting much else. Boring

Appearance: Light copper-colored body with a small, foamy white head. Smell: Faint lemony citrus aroma with lesser notes of apricots and pale malts. Taste: Starts with a faint, remote sweetness then moves to a grapefruit twang. Finishes lightly bitter, lighty metallic. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Sharp carbonation. Drinkability: Little malt, hop, or yeast character. Entirely underwhelming.

12 oz. bottle. Pour is golden, with a medium white head. Aroma is pine and citrus hop, with a little malt poking through. Taste is hop and malt, neither of which is particularly big. Not much in the finish. Overall a drinkable, yet, pretty blah IPA.

NICE MALT NOSE WITH A HINT OF STRAW AND A STRAW HOP PROFILE. BITTER MALT FLAVOR AND GRAPEFRUIT CHARACTER. THE BITTER FADES AND THE GRAPEFRUIT BECOMES MORE FRUITY AND A TOUCH FLORAL.NOT COMPLEX BUT, SIMPLY GOOD. CREAMY BEIGE HEAD AND A TOUCH OF AN ALCOHOL TASTE.

Great pale ale flavors with a rich citrus character to it... lemon zest mostly, I think, but you can find other characteristics there. Rich, clear amber color with some head and a bit of lacing. One might expect more retention considering the hop richness in there but I’m not complaining. Freshness is key to this brew. It’s very lively, very alive, really. A hoppy but still balanced beverage.

strong hop aroma. tasted of pine and a hint of citrus. hops carry though to a long aftertaste. pleasant. the beer lightly coats the mouth proving to not be all that thin like some cheaper ipas.

golden color with a lasting head. medium herbal citrus hop with a nice resin character, with carmel malt flavor that comes through. pretty light on the bittering hops. its amazingly balanced and very drinkable the lighter body on it makes it not too overpowering, classic
