Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Very solid, sweet hoppiness. I expected more from North Coast because their other beers are sooooo good, but don’t get me wrong, this beer is solid. I regularly pick up a six pack at Trader Joe’s.

This beer is an opaque golden color with an almost white head. It isn’t a dark beer, but you can’t really see through it. It has a light floral aroma. This beer has a lot of body for an IPA, but isn’t quite as hoppy as I would like and has a bit of a bitter aftertaste. It reminds me a bit of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (though I prefer the Sierra Nevada). Doesn’t taste like a traditional IPA, but isn’t a bad beer.

Bottle. Small white head (mostly dissapated). Nice Lacing. Murky golden orange color. Aroma of citrus and floral hops with some malts as well. Flavor is initially lighty sweet and finishes somewhat bitter. Decent lasting finish. Medium bodied. Decent IPA.

Smooth pour and nice head were the best part of this beer. Overall taste let something to be desired. A very nice banquet beer that can be enjoyed in mass quantity.

The color was a foggy brown/orange. The head was fizzy and off-white. The aroma smelled strongly of citris hops. The flavor was very dry, hoppy, citrisy, and bitter. The palate was medium and fizzy. The finish was lasting and bitter.

Smells strongly of very sweet grapefruit and pink lemonade. Lasting bitterness.
