Couleur jaune/orange claire, collet moyen avec un bonne dentelle. Simple arome d’houblon peu amère. Goût d’houblon amère assé bien. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Bottle. Hazy light orange with a frothy off-white head, spotty lacing. Shockingly, I picked up a bit of skunk on the initial aroma, then some grassy malt and piney hops. Piney/resiny/grapefruit flavor, bittersweet hop/malt finish. Not really a standout over other IPAs from CA but otherwise not terrible. JohnnyJ (1352), Carlsbad, California, USA

Aroma of hops, citurs, and standard piss beer. Flavors of citrus, piney hops, and a strange fruit flavor. Easy to drink IPA, but nothing great. calfaro (18), Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 30, 2006 12 oz bottle. Creamy orange with a big frothy white head that settles to a melting chunk. Speckly lace. Salty yeast cakes and faint orange honeysuckle; stale malts. Chalky bitter lemon with rubbery pith. A little toffee and orangeade. Medium light, medium carb. At least six months old so maybe past its prime. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 23, 2006 12oz bottle. Pours with a great two fingers of smooth clinging white head. Distinct golden hue. Clear and bright. Grassy citrus hop aroma. Trace malt note. Grapefruit and slightly musty. Almost a slight vanilla nuance. Toasty. Nice aroma! Still a nice lacing on the side of the glass. Full, lively and spicy. Great hops. Citrus with a syrupy cloying finish. Sticks to the teeth and gums. As it warms, the hops subside for a great warming sensation. This is nice. patrick767 (2051), fort wayne, Indiana, USA

It looks pretty good with the deep golden color and medium head. It’s medium bodied with a good hops bite, though it’s not particularly strong. The finish is off. It has what tastes like the same unpleasant finish that I found in some of Mendocino’s brews, another brewery from this part of California. Maybe i just don’t like the variety of hops used? I don’t know. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 22, 2006 I was hoping for a more bitter brew, but this one was missing the "profoundness". Pours a nice deep yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was somewhat grassy and floral. I did pick up on the hops in the aroma. Flavor was lacking. Initially it was nice. The hoppieness disappeared in a quick type manner. It was dry, very dry actually. This brew left me wanting more. now it wasnt a bad brew by any means. it just seems they stopped before they had what could have been a much better product. Typically not what I had expected from North Coast.
