Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

hazy golden colour with an off white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with a citric note and a vague malty sweetness. Malty, light sweet flavor with a hoppy fruityness.

From a bottle - Strong citrusy (hop) arome, quick flood of taste, somewhat thin on ythe finish. A good, but not great, California IPA.

Light pale body with a big white head. The aroma is light, some citrus. The flavor is grapefruit and oranges. Medium body with a bitter finish.

Aroma is biscuity malts, floral hops and grapefruit rind. Pours a clear golden with a small off-white head. Moderate bitterness, some biscuity malts in there, though not a lot. Dry finish, light-medium bodied, sharp carbonation. Meh, not that great.

Aroma is pretty hoppy, but rather bland. Pours golden, nice white head. Nice taste, citrusy, but not all that strong or complex. Overall, it just needs more flavor.

This was quite a dissapointing beer from a brewery I hold in very high regard. Pours copper with a soapy head. Aroma is musty and floral with nothing coming of as clean. Medium body with soft carbonation. Very littel malt to be seen here, very hop heavy. Starts off with citrus and grapefruit that is sharp and dry, then it gets quite bitter with piney / paper hoppiness. An okay IPA, this should have been better.

Hoppy, malty nose with a citrus note; Hazy gold with a small offwhite head; pleasant hoppy flavor with citrus and malt playing in, along with the nice hoppy finish. Nothing close to the Moylan’s Hopsicle I had the other day but quite decent.
