Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

(Bottled, 6.5% ABV) Clear golden with a medium, foamy head. Aromatic, sweetish, grainy-malty aroma with strawberries. Quite malty, aromatic-hoppy flavor with a dry, bitter finish. Medium to full-bodied, bitter palate with balanced carbonation. A quite balanced, dry and hoppy IPA.

Solid IPA. Pours dark yellow with a great thick head, very frothy. Aroma is faint hops. Flavor has a good fresh hoppy bite, piney and peppery.

(Draught at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Colour is amber, slightly hazy with little head. Fruity, very hoppy nose with hints of red grapefruit, oranges and some spruce needles. Somewhat closed. Taste is fruity with red grapefruit, blood oranges, pine needles and resin. Very hoppy, starts a bit sweet, but the finish is long, dry and bitter. Not very comlpex, but with a lovely hop character.

Poured golden with a sticky white head. Bready aroma with floral hops, citrus, graitfruit and some pine. Pine shows up in the taste along with an intense sweetness. Overly sweet in my opinion but good. Average palate with just bitter hops and not much else. I was happy with this but not thrilled.

Pours a golden color with a cloudy white head which eventuall produces lacing. The aroma is a mix of bready malt and an average strength hop. Not much ballance in this one, as there is more malt aroma than hop. The flavors are more ballanced than the aroma. A sticky and sharp citrus and pine hop, noticable grapefruit. Malts are toasty and bready and sit behind the hops so there isn’t perfect ballance, but that isn’t expected and the combo that does exist is done pretty nicely. Malt sweetness that is there quickly dissapears as the fairly strong grapefruits kick in.

Cloudy amber color, nice lace. The aroma is lightly fruity. The flavor has some malt, but it’s not very full, and the hoppiness/bitterness is average.

Nice orange-golden beer, lasting clingy white head. Great Cascady aroma, sweet camamel malts and a touch of pale crystal. Some light pininess as well. Creamy texture, sweet citrusy hops and sweet caramelly malts. Some almost mapley sweetness on the back. Moderate bitterness but the hop flavour is well developed with notes of orange and light woodiness. A tasty quaffable IPA, even at 7%.

12oz - Aroma is malty then hoppy. Pours transparent dark orange with a huge head and great lacing. Flavor is hoopy first, then malty. A little unbalanced, but still tasty. Tart palate. Good session IPA.
