Not terribly bitter for a west coast IPA... Very drinkable IPA, palate is slightly sweet and bitter.. Pretty good beer. GG (1672), NorCal, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 26, 2009 I don’t know if this heat is getting to me or not, but I was thankful I had a bottle of this in the fridge. I had finished doing some yardwork, sweating like a friggin’ pig and man this was nice. Aroma is mildly hoppy, citrusy, and a smidge of pine. Not really as assertive as I like my IPA’s to be, but still good nonetheless. Flavors carry a nice balance of hop-to-malt flavor with citrus and caramel supporting each other very nicely. Nothing over the top, nothing underwhelming, just a really nice beer at a really important time...I was freakin’ thirsty. In fairness, it didn’t last very long in my glass. I think it was gone in about 30 seconds. CanIHave4Beers (915), Des Moines, Iowa, USA

Aroma is kind of faint with some good maltiness and a little bit of citrus hoppy notes. The flavor is has a good fruity hoppiness with some citry s and a largely dry flavor. The palate is well rounded. zach8270 (2131), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 13, 2009 (bottle - 12 oz) Hazy amber color with a thick and fizzy white head. Mild hops in the aroma with a very slight touch of citrus near the end. A decent amount of malts as well. Flavor has a nice citrus and bitter taste at the beginning with some light flower and grain notes. Some light caramel malts blend well and finishes with a bitter and citrus finish. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 10, 2009 Pours a clear medium amber color with a well retained, foamy, off-white head. A sudsy wash dries as a sticky panel of broken, cobweb lacing. The nose is relatively hoppy, showing mild orange and grapefruit bitterness over a backdrop of sweet crystal malt. Flavors are equally balanced and simple, decent citrus hopping going against caramel malt and mild grains. There’s a bit of unfortunate soapiness that fouls thing up a little. The palate is medium bodied and lightly astringent, finishing with a soapy aftertaste. Not very good. A boring IPA. BigBang (213), Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 9, 2009 Nothing special here. Kind of middling in the key IPA aspects - kinda piney, kinda citrus, bit of malt, hops not overwhelimg, etc. Will not seek this one out. ScottyP (314), Brentwood, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 9, 2009 Pours a clear orange with white head. Aroma is floral hops with hint of fruit. Similar taste, although malts balance out the aftertaste, only a slight hop finish. Decent IPA. Aggy360 (115), Anchorage/ Vista,CA, Alaska, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 8, 2009 Bottle from La Bodega in Anchorge. Nice golden color with thick white head. Malt nose little nutty with light grassy hop aroma. The taste is first hoppy, then malty and finished with a little more hop bitterness. Light to medium light body. Very easy drinker. Not the best IPA but a good brew.
