Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Tap at Publick House. Aroma of citrus hops and some bready, caramel malt. Flavor the same. Pretty basic, but pretty good too.

Aroma was fairly hoppy, with some citrus, but mainly grass/herbal. Flavor was hop-forward, with grass and pine. Finish was malty, almost like a lager. Bitterness was mild throughout. Not bad, but not really that good.

One of the most refreshing IPA’s I can remember having. Smooth is the first word that comes to mind when drinking this beer - well balanced with pale malts. I’m definitely returning for more.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Gold in color with a small vanishing white head. Aroma is of spices, wet leaves and earth. Taste is of earth and hops.
