Commercial Description:
Acme IPA is profoundly hoppy, finished with over a pound of fresh whole hops per barrel. The result of this generous hopping is a beer that is deliciously dry, and eminently drinkable in spite of its apparent strength.

Hazy orange pour with a small off-white head. A little sweet with the hoppy aroma. Flavor is smooth and some hops and fruit. Lower effervescence makes it seem a little thick and there is a touch of malty sweetness at the end. Decent beer.

Sample at a North Coast beer dinner at Teller’s. Pours a light orange gold color with a small white head that doesn’t last long. Weakish aroma of cascade hops, orange citrus, biscuity malts, and yeast. Flavor is mostly oranges and hops, with notes of resin, biscuity malts, caramel, and toast. Citrusy and bitter. Light-medium bodied with average carbonation and an even palate. Dry finish. So-so.

This IPA poured a cloudy yellow colour with a nice , bright white frothy head. Scents include bread, cereal, hopps and dough. First taste was quite hoppy with flavours of orange, lemon citrus and bitter hopps. Finish is hoppy aswell with the bitter/citrus taste lingering.

My bottle looks alot different. Anyway, nothing to brag on here, bitterness lingers too much, aftertaste is not good. Easy drinking if its the best you can get.

It poured a clear golden liquid with a small white foam. Smell of fruity hops and malt. Weak taste of fruity hops and malt. Medium smooth, medium body.

Poured a cloudy yellow/orange. Medium head that goes away fairly fast. The aroma was not that strong.. nothing really jumped out. The taste was fruits and hops... fresh, but also very mild.... not much bitterness. I liked it... but overall it was a little too mild for me.

Pours clear, light golden from the 12oz. bottle into a pint glass: Nose is ripened fruit rather than anything earthy and grassy. Taste is similar- a little mild on hops and too malty for what I usually look for in an IPA. Drinkability: Nondescript, unmemorable. Rebuy: Prolly not. #191 on 07112009, DG.

35.5cl bottle at Patricks. No batch info or best before date. It poured a golden orange colour with a medium big white foamy head that vanished quickly in the glass. The aroma is suprising. notes of malts and yeast. Some hops as well, but it is subtle. The flavour is a tad bitter and oxidized. Notes of hops, yeast, malts. It has a short aftertaste. Overall it is a very drinkable beer, but fans of hoppy and agressive IPAs might find it boring.
