BückDich (4558), Boise, Idaho, USA May 8, 2004 The aroma is citrusy with some cascades & a decent maltiness. Bright orange/gold color, decent head , sticky and light. The flavor is lightly bitter, balanced. Finishes like a standard IPA would.
Sparky27 (583), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear dark gold with one finger off-white head and spotty lacing. Nose is sweet malt and light citrus. Taste is caramel, tangerine and light grapefruit with a mild resin finish. Medium mouth feel. Nothing earth shattering, but a decent session-able IPA. ruggedman (429), Portland, Maine, USA Oct 5, 2008 Not a huge IPA, but very drinkable. It’s got a muted hop profile, but it’s more balanced than some. Metalhead (536), Lake Zurich, Illinois, USA Oct 5, 2008 Hazy light orange/sunshine color. one finger thickly foamed head. Nice lacing.
I would not say this had the "punch" of an IPA. It was crisp , refreshing , nicely but not overly hopped. Nice citrus tang to it. and a great session beer. One of the best pale ales I’ve had. Kudos! $9 a six. jefcon (848), Arlington, Virginia, USA Oct 4, 2008 Super-hoppy nose is lemony and herbal. Dry and light palate. There are enough hops and alcohol here to make you think this is an imperial, and the beer is certainly aggressive. A great bargain and a fruity IPA. DrSamPHD (17), Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA Oct 1, 2008 I was not sure what to think of this IPA (new to beer tasting) The normal IPA taste i was used to, but with a more balanced taste and hoppy taste. Poured with a gold color and thick white head. Tingled my mouth. Would definitely purchase again in the future!
