Front taste is green herb, cereal grain, rusty caramel, sour apple, and maybe some vanilla. Turns to more bitter green herb and sour, crisp apples on the finish. Palate is light-medium, astringent, and dry. Seems very British-influenced. screigh (262), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Nov 11, 2007 Pours a hazy straw color. Very small head with no lasting power. No hop aroma at all. In fact not much aroma of anything. Flavor is tart and thin. Nothing really to describe. Just blandness. MrRain (433), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 4, 2007 12oz bottle poured in a shaker. This beer pours bronze and hazy with a medium head, pretty unremarkable but not undesirable. It has a nose of honey pineapple and wheat. The body is light and crisp, almost like a kolsch. The taste is light, refreshing has a slight citrus taste. As advertised this is a nice session beer for social drinking where you neither expect nor want a complex beer to distract you from friends. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 25, 2007 This beer seems to be off. It pours light amber with no real nose. It has a crisp ckean palate with a flavor of very light malt flavors. Hops seem quite light. nmoskop (68), Arizona, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2007 Not as much kick as a Stone or even Sierra Nevada but overall I enjoyed this beer. While the hops aren’t quite as precise as other pale ale’s it is definitely a very clean, great tasting brew. badlizard (2370), Berkeley, California, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 17, 2007 Updated: Oct 21, 2008This is alight but tasty, crisp ale. It is golden, bubbly, with a thin, dissipating head and has a very mild aroma of grain and flowery elements with a hint of citrus. The taste is similar, being very mild, but pleasant, and lasting with nice balance of light grain/bread with hints of apple and citrus, faint flowery bite, and a crisp, slightly flowery finish. It is refreshing, crisp, and highly drinkable while still providing good flavour. Strykzone (1485), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Oct 6, 2007 Not being a hop head, I like this beer. It is the maltiest pale ale I have tasted. There are plenty of hops but they almost take a back seat to the malt. Mouth feel is very nice and creamy which is a result of the high carbonation activity keeping a layer of foam on top. Flavors include fruit and spice. Those who enjoy a more traditional pale ale will have problems with this malty version. As a malt fan I like this beer.
