| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 15, 2007 Pours a light gold with a thin white head. Very mellow smell, not a whole lot going on. Light hops, and wheat notes. Light hoppy taste. Grain and wheat are also there. Very easy drinking but not very complex. Less hoppier than alot of other pale ales Ive had. shaungilmour (1), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 4, 2007 Very smooth and refreshing pale ale. Nice hoppy finish, but not so overwhelming that those who are not fans of uber-hopped pale ales won’t still enjoy. Has a nice honey lemon zest to the palate with a mellow finish.
Exremely drinkable and friendly. morrdt (609), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 12, 2007 Bottle from Total Wine. Pours an amber color with a light white head. Very light aroma. Drinks clean with a bit of an aftertaste. Not my favorite pale ale, this is average at best. smackie (45), St. Augustine, Florida, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jan 11, 2007 I think this is a good pale ale. I’ll pay the extra bucks since I can’t find my favorite Sweetwater 420. I’ll say this is my favorite at the corner ABC, who recently started selling fancy beer. Otherwise, Broudy’s is the place to go. Having just moved from Oregon. I’m having discover a new slew of frothy malt and hops. bhensonb (4371), Woodland, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Medium aroma of malt and hop. Mayhap light aroma. Light golden apricot color with a white head that is hardly present. Very firm mouthfeel. Seems to start with malt, then an under presence of paperishness, finishing with hop. When taken into the mouth it is vigorous, spritzy, and maybe lightly citrusy. Good stuff, I suppose, but there is a reason it is not on the list (below) of Best American Pale Ales. Good, not great. As it warms, it seems to get a bit more complex. illinismitty (1800), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 1, 2007 Bottle from ABC in Naples, FL. Pours amber with a white head. Faint floral hop and caramel malt aroma. Very thin mouthfeel and watery texture. Flavors of caramel, toffee, citrus with a mild hoppy finish. Very average at best, perhaps a bit disappointing since I usually enjoy beers from North Coast. DJC (238), USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 29, 2006 Hazy, orange/gold color, with a head that quickly disappeared. Malt and arpricot in the aroma. Flavor profile seems to be weighted more heavily on the malt side, and I would have much rather experienced more hops. A very average pale ale, but the label is nice. Don’t waste your time on this one, because there are so many better APA’s available. hayduke (1674), Eureka, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 27, 2006 12 oz bottle from Trader Joes. Poured golden color with fat white head. Nose is very fruity, though not very intense. Mouthfeel smooth and favors well balanced. Very little hops. If you like you APA on the light side this is well done.
