I have seen this beer in the stores a hundred times and never purchased it because I figured it was the run of the mill American Pale Ale. The beer pours a copper body and a fading white head. The aroma and flavor are sweet with cereal, hints of syrup and a citric zestyness. As suspected, this is the run of the mill craft APA.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 19, 2006 Bottle Sept 2006. Golden color, not much head. Aroma wasn’t great, mixture of malt, citrus, biscuit. Taste was bland for a pale ale. Too sweet for the style and not enough hops. Usually a fan of Pale Ale’s, not in this case. jrob21 (1283), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 17, 2006 Much more mellow than most pale ales I have had. Hints of apricot and honey in the taste. Aroma is a little flat. Smooth beer but lacking complexity and hoppines that I love in this style. zach8270 (2140), Henrietta, New York, USA

Aroma is kind of sweet and malty with some hops and some caramel. Flavor was kind of sweet and caramelly at the beginning with some hops, not that much though, but a rather sweet and malty finish. Not much hops but a lot of caramel. Not in a good way though. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 14, 2006 Bottle: Clear dark gold with a small off-white head and runny lacing. I thought this was a pretty poor example of an American Pale. And from North Coast! It seems way too sweet and lacking in a hop backbone. The aromas are mainly sweet citrus and honey and the taste is sweet with a dry cardboard finish. The feel seems a bit thin as well. Beleaguered in Boise . . . waolsen (1224), Littleton, Colorado, USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 8, 2006 12oz bottle pours a light amber with no head and a citrussy lemon aroma. The flavor is very light malt sweetness with a lot of citrus. Not a great style, but not too bad for the style. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 28, 2006 Pours a hazy amber color with a small white head and virtually no head. The aroma is quite bland with very little hop presence and a slight citric edge. The flavor is less impressive than the aroma. A moderate sweetness actually overpowers what little hops are present, and the mouthfeel lacks any longevity. A light, easy drinking beer, but not a pale ale in my books. If I finished mowing the lawn on a hot day this might hit the spot, but that is it.
