Commercial Description:
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

A hazy orange beer with a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of oranges, while the flavor is sweet malty with light notes of hops and fruit.

Pours to a glowing coppery body with a thick and rocky white head. The aroma is interesting. Dried pineapple. The flavor is toasty toffee and dried papaya and pineapple. Medium-light body. Light tartness.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Pours a hazy, pilsener golden with a small, off-white head. Rather fresh and fruity aroma. Quite light-bodied, almost watery. Light notes of caramel and aroma hops leaving almost no bitterness. Drinkable indeed - as an alternative to Pale Lager. 210606

12 oz bottle. Golden amber beer with a small white head. Aroma is that of any other macro beer, with a little more emphasis on the pale malt. Flavor is sweet cereal malt, smooth and full in body, but not in taste. Nowhere near enough hops. Very disappointing in comparison to the IPA which was pretty good. I just don’t like this beer. A notch below average in my opinion. Not something I would ever buy again. Single purchased at Total Wine & More, Jacksonville FL.

Bottle. Golden-copper color with small creamy head. Sweet aroma with pineapple and other tropical fruits. Sweet and suprisingly strong honeyish flavor with pineapple and grapefruit. Tropical fruits and low bitterness in the finish. Too sweet and too little bitterness for a balance.

Bottle. Hazy golden coloured with a white head. Aroma of malts, fruits, hops and pine needles. Flavour of fruits, hops and pine needles with metallic notes.
