Dish soap and citrus aroma, with caramel malt and a metallic touch. Weak flavor with some caramel in the beginning, a quick burst of citrusy hops, and then nothing but a slightly soapy aftertaste. Some honey is in there, but not enough to add any depth. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 13, 2006 A cloudy golden yellow pour with a minor head. Strong scent of green tea in there. Not citrusy, which is what I’m used to in West Coast IPAs. Flavor is pretty mellow- carbonated and kind of watery. Overall, this IPA’s all right, but I want more hop character in it. Kodos (200), USA

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 27, 2006 From a short 12 oz. brown bottle with no freshness date. Made an average appearance, poured a clear amber hued golden with a small foamy head that quickly reduced to a thin lacing. Had a soft, sweet fruity aroma, almost candy-like, and subtle graininess. Moderate carbonation and a slick, watery light bodied mouth feel, average drinkability. Overall, was watery tasting in it’s flavors, a sweet fruity, leaning towards tropical with a mellow bitterness, a mild grainy, slightly bready maltiness and a semi-crisp sweet bitter finish.
