Commercial Description:
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

A nice smooth ale, I agree, it could be hoppier, but its not a IPA, so it being a little milder is cool with me, good brew, very smoth, but not outstanding, I would drink it again, but I prefer more of a hop kick!

Bottle pours golden, clear, small white frothy head, spotty lacing, with light carbonation.   Buttery sweet hoppy aroma.   Very light hops on the flavor, moreso malts and some graininess.   Medium body and mouthfeel.   Finishes malty, grainy, and slightly nutty.   Not bad, but fairly boring.   Could stand to be a bit more hoppy.

Clear honey color... nedium head. Just a little bitter, but overall pretty balanced. Hints of orange or citrus fruits- nothing overpowering just a halfway pleasant pale ale.

Bottled, Stockholm Beer Festival. Orange colour. Aroma: A little swimmingpool, a little butter and a little melon. Flavour: Chewy hoppy but smooth still. Medium bitter. Maybe a little thin.

Malty fruit aroma with some caramel. Fruity and with both malts and hops. But it could have had more body...

Bottled. Clear orange. Sweet and caramelly. A light dose of hops. Some crystal malt and toffee, but not much else. Not an attention grabber.

Pours an amber colour with a medium head. Light malt aroma with some strange citrus. Flavour of light malt and citrus. Not a bad beer but I was expecting more.

bottled: this tasted exactly like the ipa with a slight less bitter punch of the same hops used in the ipa....they have no real flavor except bitter and twingy and poor.
