Commercial Description:
ACME CALIFORNIA PALE ALE is a smooth, clean ale with faint citrus and honey flavor notes and a dry finish. It is brewed with Yakima Valley hops and the finest American two-row malt, but with a measure of British specialty malt for depth. This easy drinking pale ale is a "session beer" which will be welcomed at neighborhood taverns and restaurants (and refrigerators) throughout the west.

From bottle. Rich honey aroma. Pale golden appearance with a decent frothy white head. Sweet floral flavour. Tang of citrus with a good bitter finish.

Dark copper pour with a very thin amount of tan head. Aroma is kind of sweet and malty with some hops and some caramel. Flavor was kind of sweet and caramelly at the beginning with some hops, not that much though, but a rather sweet and malty finish. Not much hops but a lot of caramel. Not in a good way though

I enjoy a good pale ale now and again, and this was a good pale ale for now. Like it and would buy again.

Bottle: Poured a hazy yellow with a creamy off white head. Aroma is cardboard. Taste is corn and hops, bit watery and more cardboard.

Eh......pretty bland pale ale. Some hoppy notes in the aroma..but nothing too distinguishable. Flavor was bland malt with some herbal hops. Not really a good choice.

Bottle from the Utah State Wine Store. Pours a clear copper color with a small white head. The aroma is light honey and floral hops, light malts also. The taste is pretty basic; biscuit, citrus and herbal flavors, some dirty alcohol in the finish. Easy going and decent.

Honey orange with a finger of soft white head. Pale malt sweetness, some herbal and citrus hops aromas. Taste is simple maltiness with some lightly spicy hop bitterness and floral and citrus notes
