Mar 1, 2006 Cask (gravity dispense) at White Cliffs Beer Festival, February 2006. First beer of the festival and an impressive start. Deep reddish brown colour. Sweetish caramel aroma with rich plummy fruit and a touch of chocolate. Some roasty, smoky malt too, which carries through onto the palate. More chewy fruit, nuts and dark smoky malt. Good depth of flavour and clean, dry finish.
