[Cask at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese, Castleton, Derbyshire] Pours deep amber-brown with a medium creamy head. Tastes of malt, caramel and treacle; it’s very rich, very smooth, sweet and easy to drink. A great session beer.

Cask at GBBF 08. Hazy amber with an offwhite froth. Quite complex nose: fruit, toffee and chocolate. Good fruity bitterness. A bitter way above the average.
