Oct 31, 2008 Smells of hops. It is a golden colour with a thin head. Very hoppy lagerish. Wouldn’t have it as a favourite.

Close to a classic old-style yorkshire bitter, nice to see that again. Not a huge aroma, slightly fruity and nutty, that’s all. Lovely nutty bitter taste. Simply bitter finish.
I suspect that this was mis-labelled, and was actually just the plain Barnsley bitter. Should rerate.

Jul 27, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear, very bubbly gold, with an average size diminishing white head. Aroma of mild resiny hops and sweet malt. Flavour of grain, sweet malt, hops, some citrus and a nice hoppy dry finish to it. Medium bodied. Nice and pleasant to drink.

May 10, 2005 Bottle. Clear gold with white bubbles. Aromas are crisp citrus with butter and grain. Flavours are light and buttery malts, quite sweet, followed by a citrus, then dry finish. Pretty decent.
