Cask handpump @ Reading Beer Festival 2008.
Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, flowers, lemon. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat, finish feel is metalic bitter. (010508)

Cask gravity at Reading BF 08. Biscuit bread aroma. Not the greatest IPA, decent hop and well put together. Finish is great, very chinooky, but overall pretty restrained.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival.
Hazy amber brown. Reasonable hops, good earthy malt and some nice greenery going on. I love Fin’s note of ’lazy citrusness’. A little bit harsh but tasty all the same.

Cask at Reading Beer Festival 02-05-08 following a two hour queue to get in grrrr! Pours golden hazy orangey amber in colour. This starts off with a nice tangy and hoppy thrust, this hoppiness softens quite quickly and there is lazy citrussness that takes over, the finish is really quite dry and it has to be said that this beer really is quite lovely.

Cask in Blackfriars ... amber ... little hop in nose...fruity bitter ... but a bit non descript and just a bit too plain.uninspired.
